Slumber Party with my Cousins and Nieces

The slumber party that my cousins and I organized for kiddos and for us to catch up was successful. The kids enjoyed it. The kids wore yellow sleepwear courtesy of the ever fashionable and ultimate party planner, Sissy Anney of Blog ni Ako.

We watched horror movie "Bulong" while feasting on the foodies that we prepared earlier that night. Click here to check out our Slumber Party Food.

Gossip time when the kids were asleep, lol!. We talked about who'll host the next themed party. Stay tuned for more exciting and fun filled party every month.

The slumber party finally pushed through last Sunday at Sissys residence. We prepare the foodies at around 6 PM. I made Cream Dory pesto, I'll share the recipe on a separate post.

Cream Dowry al Pesto

Sissy Anney prepared french fries and Onion rings  for the kiddos. The kids were excited to watch horror movies that Sissy Peachy downloaded earlier that day.

Sissy Anney also prepared homemade chip's dip. She used tomato and wansuy and she arranged it to her cute tray.

Sissy Peachy dish was the famous Honey-Mustard Glazed Chicken and Bacon Bites. The recipe is posted on her blog, The Peach Kitchen.

For sweets we had cathedral Window from Goldilocks and chocolates.

Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong

We had city  tour the following day. Along with other Filipino tourists we departed the hotel at 7 am. Our first stop was at the Avenue of Stars. The Avenue of Stars was modelled like of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Kong. It honours celebrities of the Hong Kong film industry. It is located in an easily accessible section along Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade , next to the southern end of Salisbury Garden.

According to the website, the Avenue of Stars will be lit up in the evening. Its special lighting effect will turn the Avenue to a glittering galaxy. We wernt able to witness this because we came in early morning.

There's a lot of movie-related sculptures displayed at the Avenue which is ideal for photo shoot. Featuring commemorative plaques, hand imprints of movie celebrities, descriptive milestones, kiosks with movie memorabilia, a towering Hong Kong Film Awards replica, and a life-size statue of the legendary kung-fu action star, Bruce Lee.

Along the Avenue, you will see 7 cutely-designed mobile carts selling light refreshment. There are also 3 kiosks at the Avenue of Stars, offering a wide collection of souvenirs, including films and movie-star products  for sale.

A breathtaking view of Victoria Harbor was I think, the highlight of the place.
