We obtained freedom because of the martyrs who risk their precious lives for our sake. Today, the blood they shed leaves a mark as we commemorate their endeavors. On this day, we are paying our sincere gratitude to them..... it is a day worth to be celebrated. We were able to breath the fresh free air since our  birth because of their sacrifices.  My dear friends, we are the privileged ones to have been born in free Philippines.

As we celebrate the National Heroes Day raising and fluttering the Philippine flag with great pride or playing  and singing the national Anthem with fervency, we need to look back into the past to remember and pay tribute to the builders of our great nation.

We must not ignore the common people who sacrified a lot for the good cause of this country. There were peasant, land lords, farmers, businessman, artists, teachers and students who helped the land achieved the long dream of freedom.  A responsible Filipino recall the deeds of our National Heroes, we must not allow those hard times and struggles fade away from our memories.


We have come a long way  in the path of free Philippines. My question is; Have we proved ourselves worthy of freedom?

Nope its not my birthday. My office mates and I went to the resto to satisfy our stomachs with Somethin' Fishy's famous all you can eat breakfast.

 At Php 114.00, it was a great deal. They offer great-tasting food. The food were all laid out on a long table and everyone was free to get their share of food and you can still go for seconds or thirds for that matter.

Food choices include tapa, tocino,different choices of  eggs, chicken and pork adobo, bangus, palabok, garlic or plain rice, pancakes, palitaw, molo soup, arroz caldo, etc.

Your are definitely correct! Aside from a good massage or a real great rest, you need a "major, major" (borrowed it from Ms Philippines, Venus Raj) meal. Shall I say major, major eatables! and yes you do.

Today, I'm gonna treat you to Max's. Enjoy the corned beef and the Chicken flakes while reading the morning news and zipping your decaf. I liked the Chicken flakes although its not that appetizing on the picture maybe because of the egg, I want my egg well done (not what you thinking, huh!).

Do you like going to the beach? Let's go to the beach!!! I already miss the sand, the sea , the shore and the snacks. Too bad, we can't go at the beach because its rainy season.  Its not really beach going weather at present time. So, let's just feel the beach from the photos taken couple of years ago in Tivona Batangas.

Its only when the weather is hot and the sun is shinning if you want to go and do some fun activities on the beach. Creating memory along with the seashore is a blast whether you are with your family, best group of friends or love ones.
