Pansol, Laguna - Island Garden Resort

Last weekend, Jelaine and I gate-crashed to Majal's Family outing in Pansol, Laguna. That was my first time to experience Pansol. All I knew, Pansol was a resort but I was wrong. Pansol is a barangay located  at the foot of Mount Makiling in Calamba City, Laguna about an hour by chartered bus from Manila. It is a popular tourist destination with its hot spring and non-hot spring resorts. Majal's family chose Island Garden Resort, a non-hot spring resort.

At Php 3000 during daytime, it includes 3 air-conditioned rooms (2 of the ac's  are not working though), swimming pools, Billiards, Karaoke, and free use of kitchen with stove and refrigerator. I think the place could accommodate 30 to 50 people, perfect for a team building, birthday celebration, or just simply spending your weekend away from the bustling city.

Coffee, Tea and Me - Good Times

Hanging out with Nathan and Jen at Starbucks in Bonifacio High Street, The Fort after a very long week days and loads of work is beyond comparison. Letting the time flies. Bring laughter  while talking about humiliating and embarrassing experiences at work. Letting the bad times blend with our delightful coffee and snacks.

Jen had Java Chip and Cinnamon Swirl, Nathan ordered Choco Glazed Doughnut and Mocha Frap and I had my utmost favorite Green Tea with Strawberry Syrup and Chicken Empanada.

Come to think of it, do you need money to have a good time? No, I dont. I realized, I dont need money to have a good time but a circle of  equally crazy friends while having a cup of coffee. Tell me,  what is your idea of a good time?
