Cook at Home with Carnation Milk

Browsing the Carnation's website, Cook at Home made me realized I'm not yet ready for a high caliber recipe. However, I can't back out now. I made a promise. Limme share to you the easiest way to turn ordinary days into Mmmdays with Carnation!

Creamy Macaroni Chicken Soup with Carnation Milk

Here are the ingredients;

350 grams macaroni pasta
250-300 grams chicken breast
3 pieces hotdog, cut about 2 cm  thick
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed/minced
2 knorr chicken stock cube
1 small white onion, sliced
2 carrots, sliced in julienne strips
2 tbsp Butter
1 stalk celery, sliced
1-2 cups roughly shredded cabbage
Salt and pepper
1 can Carnation Milk

Cuisineuer Steps:

In a casserole boil the chicken in the water. Add 1 cube of knorr chicken cube. You can add the salt and pepper, if you like. Once the chicken is cooked, take it out of the water to shred or to slice. Set aside the chicken. Put in the macaroni pasta on the chicken stock cover until cooked al dente.

While waiting for the pasta to be cooked, put some butter in a pan and sauté garlic, onion and carrots. Put the hotdog and cook for about two more minutes. Add your chicken and continue mixing. Add knorr chicken cube to taste. Turn off the fire.

When the pasta is cooked, add the meat mixture in the casserole. Then add up your cabbage, celery, salt and pepper. Turn off the fire. After a minute pour the Carnation Evaporated Milk.

Serve with a big smile during cold, rainy days.

I took a picture without the Milk yet. Cute bowl courtesy of Anney.

Cuisineuer Tip/s: Put Carnation Milk after everything is cooked.  It will enhance the creamy flavor of your Chicken Soup. Use butter instead of oil, the yellowish color on top of your soup is so appetizing.
